About the SAGPS
The SAGPS stands as the first and original South African Guinea Pig Society,
the Founder society to register Guinea Pigs into South Africa.
The SAGPS breeds standard in South Africa is written in accordance with various international breed standards,
and holds affiliated shows with three different clubs for Guinea Pigs.
The SAGPS commits and acknowledges the importance of data integrity in pedigree keeping.
The SAGPS is also proud to have been the first society in South Africa to introduce training of Guinea Pig judges, to judge Guinea Pigs against a written and accepted breed standard.
The organisation is welcoming to all non political owners of Guinea Pigs in South Africa and abroad.
